The Broadway Wine Club was started by Broadway professionals and wine industry veterans during this interminable COVID intermission because we missed going to the theater and chatting about performances over a great glass of wine. So we started a club to do just that. And we’d like you to join us.
Join the community of wine and theatre lovers. This shipment features flagship bottle Purple Pyrmid. Combine our flagship with exceptional wines from our favorite producers to offer a mix of styles for all palates.
With your membership comes not only some of the best wine in America, but also:
The Actors Fund fosters stability and resiliency, and provides a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over their lifespan. Founded in 1882, The Actors Fund is a national human services organization here to meet the needs of our entertainment community with a unique understanding of the challenges involved in a life in the arts. Services include emergency financial assistance, affordable housing, health care and insurance counseling, senior care, secondary career development and more.
Through our partnership, Broadway Wine Club will donate $10 per membership to The Actors Fund. The Actors Fund has provided $16 million in emergency financial assistance to over 13,000 people who work in performing arts and entertainment, and we hope to amplify this amount.
We strive to reconnect communities while helping small businesses. As theaters across the country were forced to shut, and the wine industry was hit with both COVID impacting wine distribution and the West Coast fires, we saw an opportunity to help both industries.
For the wineries, we’re providing a new customer base, as many have lost tasting room business and restaurant clients. For theater audiences like ourselves that are missing the connection with Broadway, we offer aw ay to stay connected to the world we all love over a glass of wine. And our tastings and live events give theatrical creatives and performers an outlet for their time and talents when they need it most.
In addition to helping from an economic standpoint, our business is built upon an aggressive anti-racist and inclusive policy in all who we work with. With that, we are proud that our launch shipment includes the work of one of America’s leading female winemakers in Pam Starr and in Evening Lands, an Indian-American and a Japanese-American team.
