Broadway Wine Club and iHeartMedia New York’s iHeartRadio Broadway announced today the launch of a new iHeartRadio Original Podcast, The Broadway Happy Hour Podcast. The podcast, distributed by the iHeartPodcast Network, premieres today and can be heard on iHeartRadio, iHeartRadioBroadway.com and everywhere podcasts are heard.
Sip wine with the stars at The Broadway Happy Hour Podcast, hosted by Kate Rockwell, Broadway actor and certified wine expert. In each episode, Rockwell will interview guests from Broadway about their work on stage and screen and what they love to drink. Unlike other interview podcasts, The Broadway Happy Hour will feature a variety of unique stories from backstage to the best bars, all while teaching you more about fine wine, cocktails, craft ales and other delicious libations. Arvind Ethan David is a producer and writer of films, television, comics, and theatre. On Broadway, David is a lead producer of Jagged Little Pill. In television, David was Executive Producer of the acclaimed BBC America/Netflix series Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency starring Elijah Wood. David has produced eight feature films, including the British hit comedy The Infidel and The Garden Of Evening Mists for HBO. David is a principal of Prodigal Entertainment, and a partner in Hatch Escapes an escape room and table-top game business.
David is also a writer, whose redits include the Stoker Award-Nominated Darkness Visible, which he is adapting for television for Intrepid Pcitures (“Haunting of Hill House”) and is currently working on a series for Amazon, an original graphic novel for Clover Press and an adaptation of the best-selling YA series The Knights of the Borrowed Dark for Screen Ireland. David is a proud immigrant of Indian origin, the son of a refugee and currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Janine N’jie David and their daughter Odetta.
A serial entrepreneur with experience in fashion and luxury goods, Nathan built a bespoke footwear business in London, expanded fashion brands across the US, Europe, and Asia, and for a while had a tin mine in Mongolia. His fondest theater experience was attending the opening night of Mamma Mia! in Beijing, (although he never managed to figure out who Sophie’s dad was due to his lack of fluency in Mandarin). His education in wine started with a harvest in Oregon in the 90’s, combined cellar rat duties with learning to surf in Margaret River, Australia, and is now limited to barrel tastings with friends in California, Oregon, and Washington – now that he’s too tender to bucket out a fermenter or throw around totes. Nathan made his Broadway debut as a co-producer on Jagged Little Pill.
Scott is the principal of No Roof. Having opened Wood & Vine in 2010, Grass Fed in 2012 and Spin the Bottle Wine Studio in 2013, No Roof was formed to establish a platform with which to streamline operations. With experience stemming from running an exotics trading desk for JPMorgan in New York and London, logistics and operations are a natural fit. Scott relocated to the Santa Ynez Valley in 2016 where he purchased a small vineyard and now makes wine under his Watchtower brand while applying his operational expertise to the wine industry.
Victoria Cairl is an independent marketing and sales strategist who has worked for a diverse mix of clients including Broadway shows (Jagged Little Pill and A Christmas Carol), Non-profit theaters (McCarter, Long Wharf, Philadelphia Theatre Company), immersive experiences (The Museum of Broadway), ticketing platforms and large-scale brands (Playbill, Charlie Brown’s Christmas, Nederlander Worldwide and Hard Rock Casinos). Previously Victoria worked for Lincoln Center, The Met Museum, Disney and Show-Score. An entrepreneur and innovation junkie, she loves building businesses as much as a good bottle of Pinot Noir.

Tamar Climan enjoys working as an independent producer. She is currently the Consulting Producer on Broadway for Jagged Little Pill and for The National Tour of Oklahoma!, which took home the Tony Award® for Best Revival of a Musical last season. She also worked as Executive Producer on the recent production of Children of a Lesser God. As a General Manager, Tamar co-founded Richards/Climan, Inc. along with David R. Richards, where she managed more than eighty Broadway, Off-Broadway and touring shows. Tamar was born in Montreal, Canada and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Tamar likes her theatre like she likes her wine — complex and refined.
Drew Hodges is a designer, strategist and founder of New York’s SpotCo, a creative agency known for the iconic branding of Broadway shows Rent, Chicago, The Book of Mormon, Hamilton, and many more. In his new book, On Broadway, he revisits the breadth of SpotCo’s work and exposes the best and the worst of the creative process. Drew is a long time member of AIGA and past president of AIGA NY.
